Terms of use
By using ota.gg you agree to what follows. It is short, because the product is: you make a page listing anime, and you share the link.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old, or 16 where local law requires it.
- One person, one account. Keep your Discord or Google login secure ~ anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
- Handles are lent, not sold. Some are reserved, and we may reclaim one that impersonates someone, squats a brand, or is being used in bad faith.
What you post
Your page is yours: you keep every right you already had in your bio, your avatar and your links. You give us only what we need to run the site ~ permission to store, display and share your page publicly at your handle, including in link previews and QR codes. That permission ends when you delete the content.
Do not upload or link to:
- anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, or sexual involving minors;
- anyone else's work passed off as yours, or anything you have no right to publish;
- impersonation of another person, brand or service, including in a username;
- malware, phishing, or links to either;
- spam, bulk-created accounts, or scraped-and-reposted pages.
We can remove content or close an account that breaks these rules. For anything serious we do it without warning; otherwise we will tell you why.
Don't break the site
No scraping at volume, no attempts to reach data that is not yours, no probing the infrastructure, no automated account creation, and no reselling access. Ordinary use, including linking to your own page from anywhere you like, is exactly what this is for.
Catalog data
Anime titles, cover art and metadata come from third-party sources listed on the credits page and remain subject to their own licences and rights holders. Cover art belongs to its rights holders and is displayed for identification. If you hold rights in something shown here and want it removed, email hello@ota.gg with the work and the URL, and we will act on it.
The site itself
The ota.gg name, design and code are ours. The database is offered under the terms described on the credits page, which include a share-alike obligation we pass on to you.
No promises about uptime
ota.gg is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind. It may break, lose data, or go away. Keep your own record of anything you would miss.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or lost profits arising from your use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are untouched.
Ending it
You can stop using ota.gg and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, or shut the service down entirely ~ with notice where we reasonably can.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and continuing to use the site means accepting the new version. If a change is material, we will make it obvious.
